Why does my home Wi-Fi always drop on my iphone 4s?

My home Wi-Fi always drops on my iphone 4s running ios 7 btw and to get it back on i have to restart my phone its a pain in the but anyone help me it would be much appreciated i've tried renewing release btw

I'm sorry to hear about your issue. The only other solution would be to restore your phone. First, try a restore and back-up. Then, try a factory refresh if that doesn't help. Hope this solves your issue!

A corrupt Wi-Fi profile for a connection is a common problem on many gadgets (& PCs).

Try deleting the stored connection then add it back.

If that does not work (on an iphone), go to Settings -> General -> Reset.
Do a 'Reset Network Settings'.

You will have to add the Wi-Fi connection back again but that can cure all sorts of strange problems, even some not obviously related to Wi-Fi like some text messages not being sent…

Also make sure you have the latest update of IOS 7 (7.0.4) - one of the early releases had serious problems with this type of thing. Look in Settings -> General -> Software Update for the version.

If it's not 7.0.4, update it before doing the network reset.

  • Why does my Wi-Fi constantly drop on my iPhone? Even when IIm 10 feet away from the router. 's fine when IIm right next to it), my Wi-Fi will switch to LTE for a few seconds, then go back to Wi-Fi. This happens every 5 minutes or so and it really bugs me. Anything I can do to fix it?
  • Why does my iPhone always start on the same song? Every time I play my music on my iPhone it starts at a song. But when I stop the music to go on about my day and am ready to listen to music again it'll be on the same song it started on before instead of the last song I actually listened to. Why does my phone do this?
  • Why does my iphone always show emails in the smallest font possible? Every time I get an email the text is tiny! I have to stretch the screen. Is there any way to fix this?
  • Why does my iPhone always say No SIM Installed? At least 10 times a day, my iPhone service stops working and a message pops up that says "No SIM Installed". The only thing that gets the network going again is to restart my phone. It's an iPhone 5 and I've only had it since December. No drops, no damage. It's a minor defect, but it still really bugs me. What should I do? Thanks. As a matter of fact, it did it again while I was trying to post this question.
