Why does my iPhone 4S keep on saying 'storage almost full' all the time?

I got my iPhone 4S about 2 months ago and I have deleted loads of apps, pictures and all the messages I've sent off it but it keeps saying my storage is almost full, why is it doing this I need help please

Go into the settings, then go on general, and then about and it will tell you how much free space you have. Pictures and videos take up a lot of space and some apps take up more space then others. But mostly its videos. If you have any put them on your computer or something.

  • Why does my iPhone 4S keep saying there's not enough storage? My 16gb iPhone 4S keeps popping up with a little box saying there's not enough storage every time I try to take a picture. I'm travelling atm so not being able to take pictures is pretty annoying. I have previously deleted loads and loads of things to make room for all my travelling pictures and I just don't understand. I've tried resetting it, is there anything else?
  • Why does iCloud keep saying its full? I deleted almost almost everything from my iPhone but a popup from iCloud keeps coming up saying iCloud can't backup my storage because it's full. Please I don't understand and it got annoying someone tell me how could I fix it
  • Storage almost full on iPhone 5? I got an iPhone 5 for Christmas and after the most recent update I've been receiving a message that says 'Storage Almost Full, manage your storage in Settings'. I have a little over 200 pictures and 300 songs, and the biggest app I have is Instagram. I share an iTunes account with my mom and my younger sister, could that be the reason that my storage is almost full?
