Why does my iPhone 5 keep skipping songs?
Every time a try to play certain songs, it will just automatically skip to the next song. This happens with a number of songs, songs that I bought from iTunes.
Well if its the new Iphone i'm guessing it has some bugs, all phones do when they first come out.
But i had this problem on my Iphone 4s but it wasn't the phones fault, the songs hadent downloaded properly so the phone couldn't play them, i deleted the songs and downloaded them again and i didn't have a problem (y)
I'm having the EXACT same problem. I thought perhaps Apple just didn't like Carly Rae Jepson
I have the same problem and I have an answer but it's pretty general. Your iphone will play certain songs depending on what account your iphone is synced with. For example, if your iphone was originally synced with say your mum or friend's account, you probably would've ended up with some songs bought through his or her account. If you have changed which apple ID (account) your iphone is associated with, apple sees it as their responsibility to "block" you from playing songs bought from someone else's account.

- My iPhone 8 Plus (IOS 12.3.2) keeps skipping songs, playing too fast. Or stopping entirely - what's going on? The software is up to date, I haven't dropped it in water recently, and restarting it didn't seem to help much - help!
- Music skipping on iPhone and volume issues? Since the new update my music has been skipping as if it were a scratched cd and the volume is changing on it's own. Is there any fix for this? I've tried resetting my phone but the problem still exists.
