Why does my iphone 5 say no sim or invalid sim?

On the top left corner my iphone 5 says invalid sim or no sim and i don't know why this happeneds i need help to fix it. I turn my phone off and then back on and it seems to work but this happeneds daily now.

There's obviously a problem with your sim card. Your SIM card is inside your phone, and is what provides you with your network. Without a SIM card, you won't have a network. So take your phone to your provider, and get them to look at it. There may be a problem with your plan or something, or the SIM card may just be broken
