Why does my iPhone 6S keep saying Voice Control and interrupting my music?

I listen to music on my phone a lot, and lately it's become nearly impossible because every few seconds, even if my display is off (it usually happens as I'm putting the phone into my pocket) it pauses, a menu comes up saying "Voice Control" and giving me a bunch of different options such as "previous track" or "who is this song by?" This is unbearably irritating. I don't know what is causing this feature to activate, but I don't want to use voice control anyway, and I have been unable to figure out how to turn it off. I've been all over the Settings menu and see nothing.
Also strange, sometimes as this happens, my music will play at double speed in between closing the menu and it reopening itself.

If this happens while using earphones or headphones with an inline mic I think the issue is you mic button (it used to happen to me), it's not completely faulty for it to happen all the time but it probably randomly sends the phone the signal that you're keeping the button pressed to activate Siri or voice control (if Siri is off) and also keeping it as a double and hold press to fast forward or skip songs randomly.

Try with another pair of earphones to determine if this is the issue. If it doesn't resolve it, I would recommend restoring your phone. Like I said I used to have a faulty pair of earphones and would randomly do that to me.
