Why does my iPhone battery drain so quick?
I took my phone off the charger at about 9:30am, it's now 10:01am and it was on 100%, I hardly used it, I only went on Facebook to check the newsfeed and reply to an inbox and now it's on 87%? I was watching it go down and it goes down 1% roughly every 2 minutes. It's been happening for about a week now and I'm lucky if my phone lasts me half a day. What can I do (WITHOUT BUYING A NEW PHONE)
Brightness down and close apps when your done (double tap center button and hold one of the apps and an x should show up and press it)
It's a conspiracy by Apple. But seriously, try turning down your brightness, closing your multitasking apps, and disabling location services. There's a lifehacker article with more suggestions here: http://lifehacker.com/...ttery-life
Definitely not normal, if I did that on mine it would be 99%. If its several years old then I guess its possible the battery is dieing and you can get a new one put in.
You may be running a lot of stuff that uses battery power.
Turn off location services for any apps that are using it. Turn off push notifications. Turn off applications that continually use the GPS or compass or other sensors. Turn off Internet connections, if you can (cell data uses juice faster than Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi uses juice faster than no connection at all). Turn the screen brightness down if it's high. Make sure you have the phone set to go to sleep after a few minutes.
Unless the phone is quite old (you don't say how old it is), the rapid loss of battery power implies that you have something, somewhere in your phone that is running or using power continuously.
If it really does seem to be the battery, Apple can replace the battery for you, which is cheaper than a new phone, although it still costs money.

I charge it to 100% before I go to sleep and when I wake up its around 96% @ WB, No, even with everything closed it, the battery still leaks.
