Why does my iphone charger get so hot?
Well I had a galaxy for awhile and the charger never got hot, it got warm but ever since I got the iPhone 5c my charger gets really HOT does it do it to everyone's or just mine?
I have an iPhone 5c and my charger doesn't necessarily get hot, but my phone gets super hot if I'm using my phone while it's plugged in. Almost to the point where I have to unplug it if I want to use it. Do you have iPhone charger that came with the phone?
iPhone 5/5s/5c chargers are terrible. They are so flimsy and break so easily. I just recently bought a new charger online that wasn't from Apple and it's really stiff and durable, so it doesn't get flimsy near the top of the cord. I really like it. Maybe this cord could help you? They're available all over Amazon, just read some reviews and pick the best one - they shouldn't be too expensive either.
The reason I'm recommending that you get a new charger is because it could be very hazardous if the charger gets too hot. I have heard of stories of outlets exploding or phones exploding because the charger or phone was overheating.
Better safe than sorry?!
