Why does my iPhone have slow Wi-Fi?
All iPhones are slow on my home Wi-Fi. Pc, Mac, Xbox, and my wife's old droid run great but my old iPhone 4 and mine and my wife's iPhone 5's are slow? Changing the dns did nothing
Added (1). The iPhones use standard 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi (802.11n 2.4GHz and 5GHz) so there's no reason why they should be noticeably slower than anything on the network.
Are you sure they are switching to the Wi-Fi connection and not still using the cellular/mobile network?
I know it's switching to Wi-Fi. The LTE is really fast.
Apple has never been known for speed.
Upgrade to iOS 6.1, 6.0 has known Wi-Fi issues. Also make sure you are not using applications like Dropbox that are constantly using network bandwidth.

- Why does my iPhone work so slow on T-Mobile? I got a iPhone and was on AT&T and now i'm on T-Mobile, I want to keep my iPhone but it doesn't work nearly as fast as it did with AT&T. Is there anything that i can do to make it work faster?
- Why does my iPhone say I have 11 emails and I have none? How do I get rid of that. When I get a new message it says 12 then when I delete goes back to 11.It's annoying. How to I get it back to 0?
- Why does my iPhone run slow? I have an iphone 3G currently on 3.1.3. I downgraded from ios4 because it was running incredibly slow, so I decided to downgrade to 3.1.3. But it is still slow with huge lag times, when opening an app. What shall I do? I have tried hard reset as well to no avail…
- Why does my Iphone 4 only have 6.3 GB of storage when it's supposed to have 8GB? I looked in the "usage" section and it says that I have: 4.6 GB used and 1.7 GB available Shouldn't I have 3.4 more GB available because I have 8gb of storage? I'm kind of confused.
