Why does my iPhone keep dimming?
I find that whenever I'm using my phone it is always getting darker and I have to keep turning the brightness back up. Are any other iPhone users noticing this or is it just my phone?
It's the auto thing go into settings and brightness and turn the auto-brightness off
Go to settings and check your brightness setting. Turn off the automatic brightness adjustment.
What the phone does is to automatically brighten the screen if the camera detects bright lights or dims it in low light so as not to hurt the eyes.
Turning that feature off will leave it set to one brightness setting (that you select) and leave it there.
You have to change your settings. Go to Settings then go to General and then to Auto-Lock. There you will set the amount of time your iphone will shut by itself
IPhone 8 keeps dimming. Seems no way to keep it bright.
