Why does my iphone make louder sounds when i tap my earbud cord?

I got these new earbuds and it was the same for my other earbuds and i tap the cord when i plug it in then it majes it even louder! Like one its silent then BAM it goes louder and it also makes this static noise then when it stops the static noise it stops th loud music i checked my volume point and its at 1 point on my iphone but its loud! Then it goes liud for a few secs then quiet then when my cord moves or i tap it it goes loud again!
Should i cotton swab it? I don't wanna use play doh or clay on it: p i just want it to be fixed any way?

Because your adding pressure to your headphone socit. Don't do that and don't add pressure to that before your headphone outlet breaks.

  • Why isn't my right earbud working in my iPhone only? I have a pair of Bose earbuds and recently I have been having problems with them. The right earbud in them has not been working but it's only the right one and only in my iPhone. It has been working in every other earbud on my iPhone though the earbuds have been working properly, so what's the problem of my bose earbuds
  • Why iPhone s earbud make loud buzzing noise? When I was playing music on my iPhone 5s using its earbud, suddenly it makes a loud buzz (nearly killed my ears). At first, I thought it was my phone, but when I unplugged my earbud, the sound works fine. And then I thought my earbud was the problem but when I tried to restart my iPhone, and plugged in my earbud, it works! Happened for a few times and I still don't know how and why it happened.
