Why does my iPhone shut off randomly all the time?
I have an iPhone 5s and I have had it for more than a year now. As of recently, when I use it, I could be texting, snapchatting or watching youtube videos and out of nowhere with no warning, It just turns off. The apple logo comes on the screen and then It turns off again. It comes on and then turns off and it stays like that for about 10-30 minutes. I don't know why it's been doing this and it's getting really annoying.
Same thing happened to me about a year ago and I ended up taking it to the apple store which they said it was an internal hardware issue. It was still under warranty so they replaced it but just yesterday the same thing started happening again and the warranty is no longer good. I'm afraid it will shut off and not start back up again like last time so today I plan on saving all my pictures and information. They only make these devices to last a couple years so you can keep upgrading.
See if you need to update. They mess with your iPhone if you don't update.
Mine won't charge when I dismiss an update. It's fine this for 2-3 updates now. As soon as I update, my iPhone starts working properly again. Before that, safari wouldn't be irk, until I updated.
That's how Apple kills your iPhone and makes you buy another one.
It could be the battery. I have a cousin who has the 5 and something like this happened, except it would get stuck on the Apple screen all the time. I replaced the battery, and it was fixed.
However, there's no easy way for us to tell you what is wrong without actually seeing it. It could be a bad battery or a logic board issue. If it is the latter, it probably is cheaper to buy a new phone than to fix it.
Mine did that too after i had water damage in it. I would bring it to a store

My boyfriend and I have been together for a while and sometimes we fall asleep on the phone, however, whenever we do I always wake up to the phone being disconnected. When i checked back at our phone history, it always hangs up the phone around 4 hours of talk time, even i its a full battery or its being left on the charger when we fall asleep. Is there some way to stop this?

Sometimes the battery would just stay at a same percent for a while and I will take it off the charger and plug it back in, then my phone would shut off and come back on. - Why does my iPhone 6s randomly shut off outside? Sometimes when IIm outside my iPhone 6s would randomly shut off. It would show a dead battery sign and charger needed to be connected. 5min later it would turn back on. I've read that it may be the cold weather and I think that s part true. Since its pretty cold outside (New York) it would explain why it d shut off. Warm season didn't start yet and it's April. Does anyone else experiencing this or is it just me. Do I need a new battery?
- Why does my iphone 4s verizon shut off when at 20%? I use to have the 4s at&t one and it would last until 1% so now shutting off at 20% is really annoying. I'm just curious why it does it on verizon & not at&t. I charge it the same as i always do my iphones. I searched the web & came up with nothing but yet to have to contact verizon but i just thought i asked the community first since they know more than these businesses nowadays.anyone know y or has same issue or how to fix?
