Why does my IPhone5s keep restarting over and over again?
My IPhone just randomly started doing this today. I picked it up and all I saw was the black background with the white apple logo, then it shows my lock screen and in 3 sec. Goes back to the restarting screen. And it just keeps on doing that over and over again. I haven't been able to use my phone. I just got it 4 months ago and I don't know why its doing this. I have been dropping it a few times though which might have damaged it a little, but I don't think that would be the case. I was able to import all my photos so I didn't lose them which I was grateful for… But, its still keeps restarting. I use my phone a lot, and I have probably about 1 MG left in it. Please help me if you know what the problem is, thank you.
Added (1). I'm sorry, i ment i had only 1 GB, not 1 MG.
Maybe, an app is causing this issue. Trying uninstalling recently installed apps.
Turn the phone off and open up iTunes on your computer. Hold down the home button, and while you are holding it down, plug it into your computer. Continue to hold the button until the iTunes symbol pops up. When you see it, just let go. Your computer is going to tell you that it detects a device in recover. Click ok and then click restore. The phone will turn off, and I tunes will tell you that it is extracting the software, meaning it is removing the entire operating system from your phone and reinstalling it.
When it is all said and done, the phone is going to be in the same condition it was when you got it. When you are setting it back up you will come to a screen that asks how you want to set the device up, iTunes backup icloud backup or as a new device. Pick new device. Play around for a few minutes and see if you still have the issue, if you don't, than it is safe to put your back up back on to the device.
This fixes almost all software issues. If it does not fix the problem that means there's a hardware error somewhere. Since you have only had the phone 4 months, it is still covered by the warranty. So we will replace it or repair it for you. You can call 1800MyApple. Ask to be transferred to iOS, if have any other questions
First restore your iphone 5 in dfu mode. After you do this you would realize it still restarts. Don't be worried, shutdown the iphone for 24 hours and do not restore from backup after switching it on. You would need to treat it as a new iphone. If this does not work contact with service center they will fix this issue
- Why does Netflix keep pausing and playing over and over? I'm using it on my iphone 4. And I have checked my connections over and over I've uninstalled reinstalled, signed in signed back and everything else that the troubleshoot website has recommend. And it's gotten annoying. It didn't start doing this as much until I updated the app before the ios 7 release. I'm currently using the trial for netflix and my laptop doesn't work so I can get it on anything but my phone.
- Why does my phone keep restarting and then dying? My phone (I have an Iphone 5s) suddenly died and then restarted. It died before it could restart and then started to restart again. The cycle keeps going on and on. I don't have an old battery and worked perfectly until now out of the blue.
- Why does my iPhone keep restarting? I have an iPhone 6 and it has the newest updates and stuff. Recently it's been restarting 1 to 3 times a day. I'll be using my phone when it just goes to the black screen with the apple symbol on it. I have no idea why it's doing this. Anyone know?
- Why do people's iPhones keep restarting? Okay so for the past couple weeks my iPhone has just been like restarting when I'm on it. Well it just thought it was mine and then tonight I was on tumblr and there was this post about it and it was like, "reblog if your iPhone has been restating recently" and there was over 55,000 reblogs so that's a lot of iPhones restarting. Why is this happening to everyone?
