Why does my iTunes not work with my iPhone?

I have an iPhone 5 that I had to send in for repair, so I got a 4s from the shop to borrow.
I plug it in my iTunes, and I get this screen - image
I've clicked on everything, and it won't go away. If I go up in the top left corner and click that little thing, the ''Show info'' is also greyed out. Any idea why? My iTunes and the 4s IS up to date.

Did you try bringing up sidebar, clicking on the summary page and enabling manual management?

I got like a warning that if I don't restore my iPhone I will not be able to receive or send calls? And plus I don't have iTunes so would I have to rest it or is that a completly different thing from restoring?
  • Why does my Mods for Sims 3 does not work? I followed all the directions for installing the mods and rechecked it a lot of times. Whenever I opened my Sims 3, it doesn't work, for example, the Iphone Mod. I rechecked it a dozen times and even updated the game, for I once theorized that the problem must be it and it wasn't! I installed the Monkey Helper and nothing changed. My Sims 3 is version 1.36.
