Why does the brightness on my iPhone 5s dim randomly?

I've had my iPhone 5s since November and I've noticed that the screen occasionally dims a bit when it's on full brightness. It's not a huge issue at all, in fact when it dims it's barely noticeable, but it's just been annoying me lately. Does this happen to anyone else with an iPhone 5s? Other than this issue my phone is perfect.

Added (1). And I've also turned auto-brightness off so that's not the issue.

Got to settings
go to wallpaper and brightness
untick auto brightness box

You probably have it on auto brightness. Go into your settings > wallpapers & brightness > turn off you auto brightness. This wil make it stop adjusting the brightness on your phone!

Maybe the auto somehow reactivated on its own.

Auto brightness is turned off, white point is off, and I've reset all my settings. My brightness is turned all the way up, but when I move the slider past halfway it stops getting brighter. Some days it won't dim at all, other times it seems to spend most of the day dim.
  • Why are people who have owned more than two iphones so dim? Srsly. They are dimmer than a lightbulb still in its packing. They are dimmer than my dog's butthole. I haven't actually checked, but I ****ume that it's pretty dark in there.
  • Why iphones screen goes dim itself when i end the call sometimes? I've noticed that sometimes when i end the call its screen brightness goes too dim, if i go to setting in brightness it shows set at half 50 percent, but screen remains dim like zero brightness, if i drag brightness bit to increase it goes normal, its on 6.1.3 ios please tell why it happens sometimes?
