Why doesn't email delete on the gmail server when I delete them on iPhone?

I've removed the archive feature on iPhone. So I get the delete option for my emails. I'm using the EXCHANGE server on iPhone for email.

It can happen wen your internet speed is very slow so the data you're sending not going to gmail server quick enough, you're thinking that the mails have been deleted but the its not.

Have the same problem. Could maybe be the phones speed on internet. Try using it on Wi-Fi and delete messages.

  • WHY DOESN't GMAIL WORK ON MY IPHONE 📱? On my iPhone 8 Plus my Gmail literally doesn't work, what I mean by that is I don't get any emails on it! Nothing shows at all. On my tablet the gmail works and I can see all my emails I literally don't understand why I'm not receiving any emails on my iPhone. It just saids "NO MAIL" but I know I do have mail I see it on my tablet
  • Server unavailable - can't access server - iPhone? Just wondering if anyone is having server issues? I've been unable to log on on my iPhone in about a week now. Keep getting 'server unavailable - please try again later' or 'can't access server'! I can access it if I go through safari app tho. Any advise would be great. Cheers
  • Is tbere any major diffĂ©rence between thĂ© iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i rĂ©alisĂ©d that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thĂ© 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
  • How come Outlook email doesn't show up in my iPhone email app? The Outlook email doesn't show in the email app, but all other email shows no problem. I've even downloaded other email apps, and it doesn't show in those either. I've deleted the account in settings and put it back in and that doesn't work. How can I fix this.
