Why doesn't God give this to me?

A couple of weeks ago my old phone broke, that led me to searching on the internet for a new one when I found an Iphone giveaway. I signed up for it (the winner should have been announced at November 22nd ) a few weeks ago. So from then I prayed every day, I fasted and even I came across to the story about the woman who lost her house and everything she had and begged the unjust judge to give that back to her. He didn't wanted to but because she was annoying He gave it back (And it said if the unjust judge gave her what she wanted than God as a just one what would he do). And I continued praying and fasting. When the winner was supposed ti be announced (And it's in a different time zone so it was November 23rd which is my birthday) I believed that I would win but whit all hope I looked and the winner wasn't me.
So it was my birthday, I prayed and fasted for weeks and (I didn't fast the whole time) I believed that I would win but God still doesn't answer. Please don't put negative answers. Sorry if it was too long

Either he has someethign better for you or it isn't time for you to get a new one or he was protecting you from a scam… Which is the most likely.

i'm in the same boat… I want a pet platypus (i'm NOT kidding. I love those things!) but being in canada, its highly unlikely i'd be legally allowed to have one here so god not giving me a platypus is sparing me from jail.

God did answer. He was telling you, that's not how to get what you want.

Read your bible and see what says about prayer. You did not go about it the righr way.

I'm the furthest thing from religious, but aren't you supposed to pray for, I don't know, peace on Earth or something, not for a new cell phone?

I would say god was to busy answering the prayers of the millions of starving children but we both know that's not true.

That was unfortunate about your phone, sorry that you didn't win the new iphone.
As far as getting God to answer prayer in cash & prizes i don't believe thats how He operates., He is not a kind of a Genie in a bottle kind of God, He would be more interested in you getting a job and being your companion to work for your new phone, that will build character in you, and make your new phone an achievement., it is wonderful that have searched scripture and done fasting, it shows a depth of character that many people don't have, .
These are life-lessons, that we can work things out, and have protection for eternity, and is much more long lasting than just competition win., just say God tweaked the draw for you to win, You would, perhaps spend the rest of your life relying on that "luck", instead of working and learning the value of things.

Well my friend Timi, you will have to get inventive,
"Necessity is the Mother of Invention. ", so jobs are scarce, and not able to pet-sit, so there must be something in your community that needs a prayerful young person to give them some help., is there a bulletin board at the church that you could see if somebody is looking to get some help, with the Holidays coming up, and the season changing, perhaps raking leaves or shifting snow, or help with grocery shopping,. The most important thing though Timi is to stay honest and not look for the easy way to get what you want, .it takes alot longer to undo bad, than to do it., if you know what i mean.
Keep praying to God, and reading your bible, I know God Hears your prayers, i will pray for you too.

The problem was that you believed that God WOULD give it to you. Jesus said that if you want something, you have to believe that it is already yours, i.e. That God ALREADY GAVE it to you. This takes practice, but I have found it to be 100% effective. Prayer and fasting never works. Manifesting anything works.

If you believe in Jesus, use his methods. If you think Jesus is a liar, stop being a Christian.
