Why doesn't my iPhone send or receive calls or texts?
I purchased an iPhone second hand on t-mobile, 3G works fine but can't receive any calls or texts or send them. Thought the IMEI might have been blocked. Any ideas?

Use this site to check if the IMEI is blocked/blacklisted. If it is, then this is your problem.
A barred phone is when a phone is reported as lost or stolen to a network and its IMEI (serial) number is blocked. This makes the phone unusable across all networks with any SIM card. The only way to unbar a phone is for the original owner who originally asked it to be barred to contact the network asking for it to be reactivated - this would happen if the phone was lost and then found again for example.
Unless the original owner of the phone asks for it to be unbarred, it can't be unbarred. It is permanently barred across all networks with all SIMs.
- Why won't my new iPhone 6 (AT&T) send or receive texts/calls? I activated it two hours ago and backed it up with the data and phone number from my old iPhone 4. Both phones now read AT&T and show cellular signal and data in the top left hand corner. But when you text or call my phone number, the iPhone 4 receives it. Why won't my new phone receive it?

I can receive calls and texts but not make them… When I ring someone it says 'connection to this number is restricted to this phone' what does that mean? And it's not just one person I'm trying it on its everyone in my contacts
