Why has my Internet gone so slow?
My Internet speed a month or so ago used to be pretty fast, I don't know exact numbers. But after I recently got my iPhone and had been installing new apps, music etc my home broadband has got a lot slower and now only get around speeds of 0.70mbps.
Is there any way I could increase this? I already got a new asdl filter.
If I left it alone for a while ( going away for 2 weeks) would it get faster? I'm on BT btw
Could be that you reached your monthly download limit? When this happens, if you have a limit with your plan, the company will slow down your connection speed. IT should get slightly faster each day, but ultimately, will not normalise until the month passes. Some companies offer to reset the braodband for you, for a small fee.
Well IPhone has a very short internet pickup range, so try getting closer to your router. Make sure you check out how much space you used up, and have left on your IPhone. If it's less than half you used up it shouldn't be data that's causing problems.
