Why iphone 3G games suddenly stopped working, the app open and closes instantly?

I noticed from last 2 weeks that my iphone 3G games which used to work perfectly fine suddenly stopped working. Whenever I try to open a game, it opens for a split second and closes immediately. I even tried rebooting my iphone several times but that didn't help. Please advise if you have any pointers.
It could be that the games require extra RAM or processing power which the aging iPhone 3G does not provide. For a temporary fix, shut down the phone, then restart it and launch the malfunctioning apps again.

- I updated ifunny and every time I open the app it closes in about a second? Once and I while the option to send an error report comes up and nothing happens when I click it the tab just stays up. I have the app for the iPhone 4S if that helps

- My iphone 5 suddenly stopped charging? Why? Wat do i do I was using fb on my phone in the afternoon. N then i plugged in mu charger n it didn't charge! All of the sudden, it just stopped charging. I thought something is wrong with the connector, I changed it. I tried charging it with another connector. From a different power source. From my laptop. Still it didn't work! I sync my phone using Wi-Fi as the itunes didn't recognize anything was plugged in my laptop. I'm kinda freaking out.
