Why iphones with 1 gb ram are faster than androids with more than 1 gb ram?

Don't just say because it is Apple.

Hate to say it but it really it because of Apple.

Apple's operating system (iOS) manages things well, and maximizes its speed; while on the other hand androids have not-so-developed operating system due to different operating systems, phones companies etc causing its optimization of usage to not be as great. It's just that Apple's operating system has better efficiency basically.

Android is a much more heavy and complex operating system compared to iOS which is much more light and as only one brand uses iOS, it is much more optimized allowing iOS devices to require less power to run smoothly.

Optimisation.

Only one company makes iPhones. That's Apple. They can optimize iOS to run very good.

On the other hand, hundreds of different kinds of phones run Android. Google can't optimize Android to run extremely well on hundreds of different models. There's just no way. It's up to the manufacturers to do that.

I've seen this too. My mom has a Samsung Galaxy Tab 7, and there's always about a 2 or 3 second delay from when I touch the YouTube app to when it actually opens. On iOS, this delay is non-existent.

Rumor says next iPhones get a ram upgrade. Hope so.

Apple designs both the hardware and the software, and so the two work perfectly together. Android is a generic operating system that runs on many different brands of hardware, and is often bloated with useless extra software by vendors, so performance is harder to optimize. However, all smartphones are more than fast enough for everyday use.

  • Why do iPhones have more language options than Android? Why do iPhones have more language options than android when carrier locked? 'Cause an iPhone has several options when it comes to what languages that it can be set in, but adroids only have 3-5 languages(for me, it's English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Korean, and Chinese) when locked… My phone is pretty much the only device that I'm unable to swap into the language that I want…
  • Why do iPhones charge faster than Androids? I've recently went from a Galaxy to an iPhone, and I was surprised by how more quickly the iPhone charges. I could set my phone down at 20%, and come back half an hour later and it'd be in the high 70's, low 80's (estimate). For my Android, it would likely not be past 30%.
  • Why Do Celebrities Use iPhones Instead of Androids? I think androids are superior to iPhones but whenever you see a celebrity like Amber Rose, Beyonce, or the Kardashians post a picture, they always have an iPhone in their hands. Does apple pay celebrities to advertise their products? I've never seen a celebrity post a picture with an android device.
  • Why are people who have owned more than two iphones so dim? Srsly. They are dimmer than a lightbulb still in its packing. They are dimmer than my dog's butthole. I haven't actually checked, but I ****ume that it's pretty dark in there.
