Why is everyone obsessed with Britain?
Lately I've noticed everyone had been obsessed with Britian.
My friends cry and get excited whenever someone mentions London. Like big whoop, it's NYC just a few hours ahead.
Everyone also walks around with stuff smothered with the British flag, like t shirts, shorts, iPhone cases, an bags.
I understand that the queen has had her diamond jubilee recently, there was a huge wedding, and the Olympics were there, but I don't really buy the Olympics thing or the wedding thing.
Like when they were in Canada or china, no one smothered themselves in Canadian or Chinese gear.
Also no one got all excited for Victoria of Sweden and Daniels wedding.
Why do people obsess over Britian, it's just a country, they're not any better than the rest of us. They're humans.
Because they've added so much to our culture. We're their "child country." Plus, we get lots of entertainment from them. British TV is great and lots of music too.
We have a lot less in common with Sweden because we don't speak the language and Canada is well, Canada. It doesn't have any ties to history and culture that we don't have ourselves.
They're much more cultured, but America has its strong points human rights being one of them.
One direction, harry potter, the beatles, shakespeare, prince william and kate, the queen, football, david beckham, james bond, robin hood, king arthur, winston churchill, mr bean, ricky gervais, jack the ripper, issac newton, charles darwin etc
the list is endless and not bad for a little island
Britain will be flooded.brits will move to russia.
- Will the iPhone 5C come to Britain? I know the 5S and 5C are being released tonight and that the 5S will definitely come to Britain but will the 5C? I've head that it will, though its main target is China. But will this mean that it removes the 5C from Britain altogether because I've also heard the 5C will be unveiled at a separate event in China 8 hours after the one in Cupertino? Will the 5C come to Britain?
- Why is America obsessed with Apple products? We really are! Most people think they'll die if something happens to their Ipod/Ipad/Iphone or apple computer
- Why are the Chinese so obsessed with the color gold? Seriously. I read somewhere that the new gold IPhone has broken sales records for Apple with this new color in China. I really think it's a tacky color. (IMHO) Here in the US I would never consider a gold colored ANYTHING! My favorite color here is black. Elegant, timeless, (what I think) gold colored makes me think of abstemious and noveau riche' people with more money than taste. What say you?
- Why are people obsessed with Joe Rogan's podcast? It is literally all my buddy talks about every other day. Rogan this, Rogan that. He always has to bring it up in amy conversation. Quite annoying really. He's also heavy into government conspiracies. Maybe that's why he likes the podcast so much? What's so good about gathering around your iPhone and listening to a UFC host talk about dumb stuff?
