Why is it that my iPhone chargers stop working?
I've purchased several chargers this year and after about a month, they stop working and my latest one says that the charger isn't supported with this accessory.Am I buying the wrong charger? The chargers that I buy on amazon say that they can be used for any iPhone or iPod. I have an iPhone 4.
It could be 1 of many things.
1: there could be an electrical circuitry problem inside the iphone itself cutting off the circuit to charge the batter VIA wall plug.
2: The charging cables you get could evidently be getting holes in the rubber thus opening the circuit and shorting out the wire.
3: Or if you are plugging all of these wires into a separate usb slot that plugs into the wall like this - http://www.amazon.com/...0038HYPZS/ - Or something of the sort, there could be a circuitry issue within that device. So you would be wasting money on more cables.
BUT if you are plugging it in direct USB to computer, then there's probably something wrong with your phone. Because those cables don't break easily.
There's no such thing as an "iPhone charger". There's a USB cord that plugs in to the 30-pin port on the iPhone, and there are adapters that convert a wall outlet to a powered USB port. Are you referring to these generic outlet-to-USB adapters as chargers? (And just how did your charger "say" that it isn't supported with "this accessory"? I'm confused.)
Take your USB plug and connect it between your computer (when it's on) and your iPhone. It should charge. If not, then there's a problem with your iPhone and it needs to be brought in to the Apple store. I can't imagine that your iPhone somehow destroys every outlet-to-USB converter out there. Maybe you are getting cheap knockoff adapters that burn out?

- Why does my service/internet stop working on my iPhone? I have had an iPhone 4s for 2 years, and never had any problems until the last few days. I can't text, call, or do aything that involves my 4g service. I have to turn off my iphone completely and then turn it back on.
