Why is my first sprint bill so high?

I recently got the iPhone 4S for sprint with the 79.99 monthly plan but my bill is $140.

They usually charge an activation/start up fee that is added to your first months bill.

You pay for the activation, your first full month plus a prorated month from the day you signed up to the billing date. You pay about $10 taxes each month plus the prorated taxes

Read the bill you will see the things stated above by others… Thats common on hte first bill then it will change to the norm after that… Good ol' taxes will be on there too.

  • Unlimited talk and text but still high bill (Verizon Wireless)? So I have an iPhone 4 by Verizon with unlimited talk and text. When I first bought this phone I was paying 103.00 for a while, then it went up to 104, 111 and kept getting higher. So a few days ago i receive my bill in the mail and it said 160! What the heck. I'm not buying any apps, I get them all for free, my data is extremely low… What is going on? Is there any way I can make my bill go down to it's original price? I'd much appreciate the help
  • Sprint first bill? IPhone 4s? I'm just a teen with a part time job. I really need a phone so I was thinking of going with the $79.99/month individual plan. How much with it be to actually go to the store and leave with it? I know the activation fee isn't due until the first bill. How much will that be as well? I just want to be sure that I'll be making enough money to manage this. Plus I'd be getting the iPhone 4s which is $0 with the plan

  • My T-Mobile bill is so high? Okay so I'm on the T-Mobile website preparing to get the contract iPhone 5s with the 20 $/per. Month and when I review my cart it says the cost monthly is 87 dollars?! The contract just adds 27 dollars, so why is there an extra 20? The one that is 0 dollars to buy on the site but has a contract.
