Why is my iphone 5 so laggy?

So I've had my iphone for a while, and suddenly it has started just lagging hugely, and the keyboard is hard too use… It's just become really laggy.

Because it's an iPhone. Actually the new iPhones are pretty known to have issues, especially with the battery overheating. May want to look at another phone! Alternatively get a replacement or visit your local apple store

Try restoring it.
Have a backup ready of course.
