Why is my iphone 5s asking for a passcide even though it had been reset?
I upgraded my phone to Samsung but kept my old 5s for my little sister when she got old enough, but now we're trying to activate it and it's asking for a 6 digit passcode. I never had a passcode, only a password with letters where I used the keyboard and I also had my fingerprints. When I upgraded I did a full factory reset of the phone so it shouldn't have saved anything. However now it's asking for a 6 digit passcode. When I first got the 5s it was still during the time when passcodes were only 4 digits. I have no idea what the passcode would be for this wiped phone. I don't have iTunes and apple is terrible so I'm not installing it on a computer, plus it wouldn't work anyway since the phone is reset. What can I do to completely reset it without a passcode?
I'm sorry for your loss
You can use iTunes to reset it. Nobody cares that you don't like it. If you have an iPhone, you need iTunes.
- Why isn't the Wi-Fi on my iPhone 4 working, even though the signal is strong? It worked this morning. It worked when I went out for lunch (Starbucks has free Wi-Fi, duh.). And it worked when I went shopping (at Target. However, when I came back home around late afternoon it stopped working. I have Wi-Fi in my house, and even when the signal is strong, it just keep loading it. No usual checkmark that shows it works. The Wi-Fi works fine on my brother's 3DS and we already checked the home computer router. I just don't know what's wrong.
- Why is my car playing music from my iPhone, even though I didn't do anything to make that happen? Also, I was watching a YouTube video at the end of yesterday, and when I got in my car, the title of the video appeared in my car audio display screen. Could I have watched the video? The car has a backup camera, so there's a TV screen in the car. (BTW I have a 2015 Honda Civic LX)
- Why Iphone 4S won't read T-mobile Sim card even though factory unlocked? I have an iphone 4S and it reads Att sim card no problem, i had the phone factory unlocked and it even said Congratulations your iPhone is unlocked after i restored it in iTunes, but all it says is no service i tried two different T-Mobile sim cards. I even checked my imei number online and it said the phone was factory unlocked. Is there anything i can try, i've never ran across something like this.
- Why does my iPhone die even though I have battery power left? I will get to around 30% then it will flash to 1% then turn off, is this common? What shall i do? Is there anyway i can fix it?
