Is it plugged in while you're using it? If so then that is normal. If not then you may have a defective phone if it's getting really really hot

The battery is not original, My Iphone used to become hot in the area under camera a little while charging or using it alot, Now it is like before but the heat is more, Do you know which part is always heating the iphone specially when I charge it? - Why can't I use Wi-Fi on my iPhone as a hot spot? I can only use my phones network carrier data and 3G when I go to use my phones hotspot and not Wi-Fi. I used to be with BT Wi-Fi but can't afford it at the moment. For some reason I'm Able to still use BT Fons on my phone for Wi-Fi. But can't connect it to my laptop. Any help would be appreciated
- My iPhone can't connect to any networks for longer than a few minutes? Whenever I try to connect either the Wi-Fi will not turn on at all or it can't find any networks. Everything else works fine and my Internet runs smoothly, I tried resetting the network connections, turning the phone off and on, backing up my phone but still nothing. I just want to know if I can fix this by myself or not.
