Why is my iPhone all of a sudden named "iPhone" instead of what I originally named it which was not "iPhone"?

My phone fell in the toilet so i put it in rice… And then it was fine so then i put my charger in and it wouldn't fit… So i took tweezers and got the the rice that was stuck out and i put my charger in and it finally fit but it will not charge what should i do? All of a sudden it just doesn't work anymore. Somebody please help me, this sucks! Why has this happened?

Then one day i accidentally turned it off and i tried turning it back on and it always says activation unsuccessful. I even tried reseting my network settings. I have iphone 4s and it does have ios 7. Any suggestions?
