Why is my iPhone dying at 100%?
So recently my phone has been dying at 50% until 2 days ago where it can barely go without being constantly charged. I have an iPhone 5s, and it's updated to iOS 8.3. If you have answers it'll really help, this is so inconvenient.
Hmm… I don't have an expertise in how batteries work or atoms but I'll try (because this seems abnormal).
Not exactly sure what you mean "dying at 50%", if you can clear that up I'll edit my answer. There's two possible issues though. 1) Being that you have your phone plugged in too much. Doing this will increasingly cause your phone to be more dependent on a constant energy source. Therefore causing it to die much faster. 2) Your battery doesn't seem old, but it may be broken. Charging a phone has a bunch to do with atoms, bonding atoms and breaking them. I don't really know the science behind it but it just means you need a new battery.
Best of luck
- Why is my iPhone dying faster? I dropped my iPhone a week ago and it cracked. Ever since I cracked it, the battery seems to die a lot faster. Do you think the energy is leaking out of the cracks?
- Why is my iphone dying at 15% battery life? It started with my phone dying at 5%. I could handle that. But then it started dying at 7%, 10% and now it is dying at 15%. I have no clue what to do now! I have an Iphone 4 and I have NOT updated to IOS 7. What could be the issue of this?
- Why is my iphone battery dying on standby? This is driving me nuts and by the end of my shift and work my phone is dead, even though I hardly use it as I'm at work?! I know iPhones are know for having pathetic battery life but it's never been this bad. Can anyone suggest a reason it's draining so fast?
- Why is my iPhone 5s battery dying so fast all of a sudden? Since the new iOS 8.0.2 my battery has been draining so fast. Literally every 2 minutes my battery percentage lowers by one. I close all my apps and it still lowers very fast. I never had this problem in the past but now it's dying so fast please help
