Why is my iPhone not charging? - 1
I have an iPhone 4 and it just recently stopped charging. I know it's not the usb cord because it will charge my ipod.
The weird thing is if my iPhone dies completely it will charge to up like 4% and just stopped. I have gotten up to 13% but it gets down to like 4% in like 5 minutes.
Within 4 hours today, it went from 100% to 22%.
Could is be iOS7 messing it up and not charging or maybe the phone itself? I don't think it's the phone, like the port because it was fine when I went to bed. I just woke up and it was doing this. Also I've had iOS7 for a couple days and no problems so far except for today. Even the battery drain hasn't been as bad…
Also it will on occasion recognize the charger. I can turn the phone off & plug it in and the little apple screen come up! But it's not recognizing the phone being plugged into the laptop when I do so.
I just know the little battery symbol in the corner is showing it's not charging.
Added (1). But it was working fine yesterday with ZERO problems. I know others with iPhones who have been complaining of the same exact problem as well ever since the new update.
It's probably a worn out battery. Lots of phone stores can replace them for maybe $30-$40.

Just called up apple and found out the answer, decided to share it with the world to keep your sound systems safe. If your charge your ipod touch or Iphone, Have it unplugged from your sound system. Cheers. kind of agree with you man, But my logitech z5500 system is like $1000 new right now… Insane, don't want to take a chance. But your probably right.
