Why is my iPhone not sending any mms messages? - 1

I have an iPhone 3GS (I know it's an old phone). I have the prepaid pay as you go SIM card. I don't have data on it; all I have is unlimited messaging which includes mms messages. I put my SIM card in and I tested everything out. I sent messages, I called people, I connected to Wi-Fi and see if everything worked, and I also sent picture messages to see if it worked. It did. It worked perfectly fine. I could send and receive picture messages. But recently, it hasn't been working. I just updated to iOS 6 and I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I also have mms messages on in my settings. Every time I try to send a mms message, the send bar goes really slow and towards the end it stops. It will let me send mms messages on iMessage while I'm on Wi-Fi, but it won't let me send any to anyone that doesn't have iMessage, even when I'm on Wi-Fi. I have mms messaging on my plan. I don't know why it was working perfectly fine and then it stopped.

I have the SAME EXACT PROBLEM and it is driving me crazy! The only difference is I have a 4 but that shouldn't mean anything. But otherwise everything is exactly the same:/ Sorry that didn't help much but I wanted you to know you're not alone here haha

  • Why is my iPhone5 sending some messages as iMessage and others as Text Messages? I understand that messages are sent as Text Messages when there's no signal or poor Wi-Fi connection. However, I'm successfully texting some people using iMessage but others (still iPhone users) as Text messages. The other person will send iMessages and then my responses will be sent as green Text Messages.

I'm trying to send texts to my cousin who has an iphone and has the same carrier.every time i try to text them it tries sending the message and when it gets to the end of the status bar thing the message just disappears like it was never there. and it only does this for this one person. why won't it send?
  • Texts messages not sending after iPhone update? I updated my phone two days ago. Last night my phone stopped sending & receiving texts. I was able to text one person, but everyone else I couldn't. I wasn't even getting a notification that my texts didn't send. What should I do? (I tried turning off iMessage & shutting off my phone, then turning it back on, but that didn't help).
  • My photos are not sending in group messages, but are sending in individual messages? I'm with Straight Talk Wireless. At first my pictures were sending in the group message but now they are not. I don't know what's wrong, all my settings are what they are suppose to be, and I'm currently on an iPhone 5s IOS 8.4.
