Why is my outer iPhone camera so blurry?

I've tried cleaning with my lens stuff(and made sure its not a finger print). I've tries turning hdr on and off. What should I try now? What could it be)

If you're satisfied that the lens is clean, then one other thing does come to mind: motion blur. Does the blurriness always occur, or is it only in certain situations -- such as low light or moving subjects? In the latter case, see if you can boost the ISO setting (that is the camera's sensitivity, and the higher the number, the greater the sensitivity). If you're taking pictures inside or in the evening, for example, consider an ISO setting of 800 or higher. That way, you will (or can) get faster shutter speeds, and this will help "freeze" the action in place.

Do note that extreme ISO's (2000 and higher) will typically result in grainy pictures and digital noise. This is the trade-off, and a decision you will have to make: blur vs. "noise". All in all, you'll get the best pictures when there's a lot of light (such as bright sunlight) or you can ensure that both the camera and the subject remain still. In low-light situations, try setting the camera on a firm surface (tripod, if possible); use a self-timer, if available (so that you don't move the camera when you press the button); and, if possible, tell the people to stand perfectly still.

EDIT: actually, one more thing comes to mind… It may simply be that the lens isn't focusing correctly. This is also common in low light situations, where the auto focus isn't able to properly identify the subject. It just can't find it. Other than that, there may be a malfunction with the lens itself.

Lots of times it is because you aren't holding the device still enough. Also, if it is low light, the image will become very grainy. Also, make sure you aren't zooming in. IPhones only have digital zoom, which just uses less pixels on the already tiny sensor.
