Why is my wifi being crappy?

Every night when I come home my iPhone will not connect to my Wi-Fi, but if you turn on the laptop my Wi-Fi will connect on my phone? (The Wi-Fi on my laptop automatically connected when I turned it on) I'm wondering why it is doing this and what I can do to fix the problem without having to turn my laptop on every time I want to connect to the Internet?

Put a password on it. Wi-Fi isn't great when many people or devices are connected and I think your neighbor is riding you for free Wi-Fi

Do you have a password on it? What about your internet plan? They probably can't hold much people, the laptop is fine because the laptop has a powerful range of Wi-Fi connection, but phones Don't, so I recommend either checking out with your network provider or getting closer to your router, but ask your Network provider that's much better
