Why is my Windows XP Not Recognizing My iPhone 4S in iTunes?

I just got my iPhone 4S yesterday and I love it. But I can't seem to get music on it. I already have music in my iTunes library that I want to transfer to my iPhone but iTunes doesn't show the iPhone icon on the side. The computer recognizes it as a camera but not music. The computer is a windows XP. What do I do! D

I'd start with uninstalling and reinstalling itunes, thats usually the first thing to try. What OS is your phone running? (I'll tell you where to look if you don't know).

Also follow all of these steps and see if that fixes your problem.

Also click on the start menu, right click on my computer and click on properties, click the hardware tab, then click the device manager, scroll down and click on the plus (+) icon next to Universal Serial Bus controllers to expand the list, and search for this --> Apple mobile device usb driver (You need to be sure thats installed). If its there and has no "x", "!" or "?" on or beside it, its installed correctly.
