Why is the iPhone 5s battery so awful?
Just got brand new 5s yesterday. Immediately turned off all of the battery-hogging features (LTE, location services, notifications, app refresh, spotlight, airdrop). I don't hav any music or videos on here. All I used was safari and email. But the battery drains before my eyes. What the hell? Even my 4-year old iPhone 4 lasted longer. What gives?
Get it replaced.
That sounds like a faulty battery to me, i have the 5s and my battery life is very good and that is with all of the things you mention turned on.
Apple are very good with customer service generally so the best thing to do would be to return it to them, you will need to make an appointment at the genius bar where they will test it and confirm the fault then they will replace it for you.
Before doing so make sure you have updated to iOS 8, Apple will not deal with the phone unless it has the latest update on it.
- Will charging my iPhone battery on full brightness increase battery length? If I adjust it to full brightness while charging and once charged 100% adjust it back to a dimmer screen will this increase the battery's life span?
- Will an iPhone 5 battery fit in a iPhone 5s battery? My battery needs replacing on my iPhone 5s but the place I'm getting it replaced only has iPhone 5 batteries, so does anyone know whether the 5 nbattery will work in my 5s?
- Why do old cameras have awful pic quality although the MP is higher then my phone? So I have an old compact camera with 12.1 MP, which i got around 2010 or 2011. I recently got a charger to charge my old camera to try out cuz I thought it would have a better quality then my iPhone 7 Plus (12MP). But when I tried taking pictures with my old camera it looks like it only have 1MP. I'm so confused because the MP are the same yet the photo quality has such big difference. Any idea why?
- Possible to change iPhone battery for better battery life? I'm going to get iPhone 4s and heard it's battery life runs out quickly. Could you buy a better one which lasts longer to replace? Which are best and what is the price range?
