It's not "weird". I was using mine up until July of this year. Sure, it's showing its age, but it does work. Not all apps work on it, but most major social media apps do.

Because its small and the hardware is old
It can lag now when its apple

Not weird but at this point thats many years ago so the hardware is now old, many improvements in later releases and newer hardware.

Other people do not care what phone or which version of it that phone you happen to own. And the people that care, only care when they are bragging about what they have compared to what you have, twenty seconds after you do not respond to their bragging, they shut up, and move on to something else about themselves that they can talk about.

No, there's nothing weird about it. I think having an old phone is cool. It is sort of vintage.
The iPhone 4 isn't even that old. Some people I know still have old-school flip phones, and I don't think they are weird.
If people think you are weird because you have a slightly-dated phone, just tell them that they need to get over themselves.
Own whatever phone makes you happy. As long as it works, you should feel lucky to have one.
