Why is Wi-Fi not working on my Apple products?

So for months now I've had my iPhone 4S. It's been almost a year. When I try to connect to my Internet it works but then after a minute it stops working. Sometimes when I try to connect it connects but when I open safari or chrome it doesn't connect to a page. I'm using my neighbors Wi-Fi for now. Also when I look at the Wi-Fi section in settings, my Wi-Fi is always at the bottom. I'm guessing its because it can't connect to that one. Now onto the second part. I updated like 20 apps and my Wi-Fi was not working so now it stopped loading in all of them And I can't use them. Now when I try to get a new app next to the Wi-Fi signal bar it shows a spinning circle. But after I open safari the circle disappears. I'm guessing the circle means its trying to connect. So now I can't download apps or do anything because I can't connect to my Wi-Fi. The same thing happens with my iPad and my sisters phone.

Does your Wi-Fi have password? Maybe someone change the password since if you put in incorrect password, Apple won't tell it but you won't connect to internet.
