Why isn't my android receiving texts from iphone?
My husband got an iphone three months ago. Around that time I got an android galaxy III. A about 2-3 weeks ago I stopped receiving his texts. He sees mine but I don't get his. He is the only person whose texts I'm not receiving and I'm the only person who can't see his texts. We tried turning off the imessage but it didn't work.
Not sure but it seems to be a carrier issue. I've had no issues with that
The problem is on his end and his carrier. Not with your galaxy s3.
does he get a text back from the carrier saying it couldn't send the message? This is a common problem with iphone users and if so there's an easy fix. We need more information to be able to help though.
Real simple. If you had an iphone in the past his iphone thinks it's supposed to be sending vias imessage. It is a known issue and the fix is quite simple: Change your Apple ID password.
Maybe you blocked his number on your phone so you don't receive any texts from him. Are you still able to receive his calls? It could also possibly be a Carrier issue. You should check with them. You should also do this in the meanwhile, Open settings on your Galaxy S3, go to manage applications. On top there will be three tabs, "Downloaded" "On phone" "All applications" Click on all apllications and then browse to the messaging app. Select the clear cache and wipe data options. (Warning: this will reset your messaging app, meaning it will also erase all messages you have, make a backup before you proceed)
