The interior spring that lets the lock button click is probably broken. This is bound to happen after a year and a half or so. Hope this helped.

It might be because you use it alot because when i do it always gets bad and i keep buying new ones

When I press the lock button OR the home button.iPhone? When I press the lock button OR the home button, my iPhone takes a screenshot. It does the sane thing when I press the lock and home at the same time, but I know that it's supposed to happen

My home button and lock button don't work on my iphone 4 Okay so about 2 weeks ago my lock button stopped working and I don't know why so I went to mts store and they said to go to the apple store and i haven't been able to go yet and then tonight I was on my phone then I went to eat dinner so i put it in my sweater pocket then after dinner i took my phone out and it wan't responding! Is there anything I can do right now other than going to an apple genius? It's like 9 at night!
