Why iPhone home button doesn't work? Out of the blue today, when I went to check the time on my phone, I realized it wouldn't turn on with the press of my home button… However, I was able to unlock my phone using Touch ID… Why would this happen? Is there any easy way to fix it?

Hi, so a while ago I dropped my phone in water, I took it to a repair shop and they fixed it but when I got it back the power and home button didn't work, I turned on assistive touch so I can use my home button and turn off my phone, now I can't turn it on without using my charger or having someone text me, is there any other way I can turn it on without having to do that?
My iPhone 7 randomly restarted and now the home button doesn't work? I was just using my iPhone 7 and all of a sudden the screen went black and turned off and then turn back on by itself and then the home button doesn't work anymore except for the thumb print sensor. Why did this happen and can I get it replaced?
