Why isn't my iPhone 4s not playing any sounds?
I can play music only through my headphones, but once I pull them, no sound is made. When I hit the +&- buttons, the volume widget pops up without the volume meter bar.
Try restarting your phone and see if that fixes the issue. If not you're going to have to restore it through iTunes and make sure to set it up as new.
If restoring it doesn't fix it, then you're speakers might be broken. I would recommend contacting the apple store.

This started yesterday, where it wasn't playing video content via Internet. It wasn't playing YouTube, Instagram, or tumblr videos. It even wasn't playing soundcloud audio.
