Why isn't my iPhone syncing to iTunes?

I just got an iPhone 4S and it won't connect to my iTunes

Make sure your cable is working

This happens to me all the time! Just connect the usb to the other side of the computer

Because you were prone to marketing enough to buy that overpriced piece of gayware.

Your iphone 4s name doesn't show on itunes?
well first you need to close itunes and unplug your iphone.
then go to start menu then type services click on that.
third look for apple mobile device and ipod service right click on them then choose restart.
open itunes and connect your device to your computer.
you can sync now your iphone to itunes

or you need a new version of itunes for you to able to connect your iphone. It happens sometimes

  • Why isn't my iphone syncing automatically? When i connect my iphone to tha computer it doesn't sync. The sync button is light gray it doesn't let me click it, i just got this phone yesterday so yeah.

Hi, basically whenever I try to sync my iPhone (3GS) a message appears saying something along the lines of "couldn't sync iPhone, run the installer to uninstall iTunes and then install the 64-bit version". I have done this multiple times to be met with the same message. If you could send me a link to the iTunes that I need, or give me any requirements for iTunes, it would be much appreciated. By the way, I use Windows 7 and have an Asus laptop- if this is any help.
