Why isn't my video working in Windows Live Movie Maker?
My laptop runs on windows 7, and I've had it for over a year. I've imported an iPhone 6 video to my laptop and have opened it in movie maker to rotate. There's two problems. One, the video will not show up in the left side display screen, and two, the video will not rotate. (judging by the icons on the right side of movie maker) What can be done to fix this problem?
This could be caused by compatibility issuepossible. To eliminate this symptom. We request that you run Movie Maker with compatibility mode in Windows 7. To do this, please follow these steps:
1. Press the Windows Logo button on keyboard and type Movie Maker.
2. Right-click on Movie Maker and click Open file location.
3. Select Movie Maker shortcut then right-click on it and choose Open file location.
4. Look for MovieMaker then right-click on it and choose Properties.
5. Click Compatibility tab and then under Compatibility mode tick the checkbox to Run this program in compatibility mode for: once you have checked it, the drop list down option below will be enabled.
6. On the drop list down option, choose Windows 7 and click Apply and OK to save the changes.
Once this has been done, please try to open Movie Maker again and check if the issue still occurs.
- Windows movie maker won't play my videos Well I've been trying to import videos from my iPhone/folders into WMM, but whenever I do this it comes up with a message which says it doesn't support the programme (quick time player and iTunes). Does anybody know how I can fix this/or where to find another movie maker?
- Windows Movie Maker won't let me use a video I recorded with my iPhone 4? Why not? I open Windows Movie Maker, and I browse through my pictures/videos and it's not there. Every video I have with my webcam is there, but none of my videos with my iPhone is there. And I don't want to upload the video straight from my iphone because I know the quality will end up being terrible. What do I do?
- Windows movie maker quality I made a video from my iphone and the quality was really good. Then to edit in the Windows Movie Maker, i converted my video from quick player to wmv. Now I've just finished my video but the quality is not same as the first video. What should I do? PS: When i upload to youtube without Windows Movie Maker the quality is 720, with the maker it is seriously low.
- Why won't windows movie maker let me use my video? So i have videos from my iphone that i want to put on WMM, but it wouldnt let me because of the format. I installed a codec and converted it to AVI from. MOV and it won't let me look at the video, its just a black screen.
