Why isn't the Internet working?

Ok so when I click on connect to a network it won't work yet everything else works like all the other internet. Also it says "connected with limited access"? I have a windows vista that's 2008. My house internet went down yesterday so I had to take the plug out of the internet and plug it back in after 10 minutes. Then everything worked but today my laptop says connected with limited access but my iPad internet and iPhone works fine. So what to do? I tried everything on google but it didn't work. My sister said its like something I downloaded but I didn't download anything since like 2 weeks. I've also tired restarting the laptop and turning off the wireless swtch and then turning it on again!

Try to configure your ip manually. You can see your ip range from your iPad and then manually configure your laptop ip. It's about your router DHCP service.

However, when I try to open up Chrome or Firefox, it won't connect to any pages. Chrome keeps saying that DNS server isn't available. Does anyone know hwo to help?
  • Why isn't my GiffGaff PAYG Internet working in my IPhone 3GS? Basically I got an Iphone 3GS and the i put my giffgaff sim in it. I topped it up £15 and got the 400 mins and Unlimited texts and Internet package as i always do. Now when i leave my house (disconnecting the Wi-Fi) my texts and Phone calls are working but my internet isn't connecting. Is there a way to fix this?
