Why on my iphone does it sometimes show texts in green, and sometimes in red?
I have a iphone 4s, my son has iphone 5. Sometimes when i text him, the text appears in green, and sometimes it appears in blue. Does anyone know why this is?
The green ones are ordinary text messages, they cost money or will be taken from your monthly contract allowance.
The blue one is an iMessage. They are a form of text between iphones and are sent when both the sender and receiver are connected to the internet (either Wi-Fi or 3G/4G).
iMessages are free.
- Why does my iPhone sometimes send texts to other iPhones as iMessages then regular texts to iPhones? Like when I send a text to my friend that has an iphone, it usually sends as an iMessage then it will randomly send as just a regular text and it will be green and not blue.
- Why does my iphone sometimes connect to Itunes and sometimes can't? Sometimes i can connect my iphone to my computer and it says iphone apple device. But sometimes it says device unknown? Can anyone help on this? Also, my Itunes need to open so my iphone can connect. I don't know why.
- When sharing imessages with other iphones, can they also see green non imessage texts too? My parents and I share the same Icloud account and receive all my text messages to keep and eye on me. I know they get imessages but can they also receive the regular text messages that get sent to non iphone users?
- What should i use to jailbreak iPhone 3g. Green poison or red-snow? I hav an iPhone 3g factory unlocked running ios 4.2.1. I want to jailbreak it should i use green poison or red snow to jailbreak… Which is more safer?
