Why will Apple give an Iphone 4s free and At&T wants me to pay $99 dollars?

I'm getting a new phone… I don't want to pay 100 bucks and I/m not getting the 5 or 5S or 5C… Not spending 200 on a phone.
But what phone would you get?
The both apple and at&T act smartly with the consideration of the chargers! In fact apple take the advantage and so does at&T in the world of logic and trade! So they consider the loss and benfits not to lose at first mathmatically!
The 8GB memory goes very fast, get at least 16gb version.

- Will I have to pay 200 dollars for iPhone 5 Verizon upgrade? I got the iPhone 4 now can someone explain the Verizon upgrade b/c in the past I used to have another cell phone carrier I also know that the prince depends of data I just want 8gb since that's the cheapest
- Why does the volume bar on my iphone disappear and appear whenever it wants to? I have an iPhone 4. If I try and listen to music the volume bar goes away and when I try to adjust the volume with the + and - buttons the volume bar under "ringer" is gone. I've tried restarting my phone, fixing the settings, plugging in my earphones and cleaning where you plug them in and connecting my phone to my laptop but nothing seems to work.
- When you give APPLE a defective IPHON do they give you a reconditioned one back? My IPHONE had a defect, still under warranty, so I took it to an Apple MAC store and after a few days they gave it back, supposedly repaired. Now the replaced IPHONE has a problem, different than the previous problem I'm now having a problem with the taking a photo. Do they just replace your phone with a reconditioned one they say no but?
