Why will my connection not work on my iPhone?

I have the iPhone 4. And my connection won't work. Like the bars are all down. It doesn't say "no service" it just shows that all bars arr down. I noticed this at school and i thought i just had no signal or whatever. Then i got home. Then my Wi-Fi started working. So i can still do everything except call and text. And my dad said he didn't change anything or turn it off or anything. And i can't ask him to call at&t because i'm grounded. So he said it shouldnt matter if its working or not.cause i'm grounded. But i still text.

so is there anything i can do or check in my setting or anything to fix this?

You need to check with your carrier. People here won't know anything about your service, etc.

  • Wireless internet connection won't work on any device? My broadband connection works just fine, but the wireless connection won't work. All the devices I;ve tried are two laptops (Vaio) an iPad, and three iPhone 5's. When this happens, I usually just turn the router of and on again, but that won't work. I have a dial up connection for my laptop and used that to create my ad-hoc connection. The dial up connection is actually a USB internet on the go. I use pre paid cards and have a connection with a company here in Greece. I want to connect my iPhone to Wi-Fi and would like to know why it isn't working.   • Why is my Wi-Fi connection not working right? I have been experiencing problems with my internet. About a week or two ago my internet started acting funny and then started being normal for a week, then yesterday started acting weird again. The problem is it won't connect my laptop but all the other laptops can connect, iPods and iPhones have connection but it flashes on and off, same with the 3ds, and it kicks you off xbox live. My service is optimum and the tv and phone works just not the internet Wi-Fi.
