Why won't my iPhone 4 play music?
For the past two days my iPhone 4 hasn't been playing any music of out 'music' my alarm clock works, when i check/change my ringer that works too just can't play music, nor is there a volume bar at the bottom. Yes I've tried looking at my settings and adjusting them, try turning it off and on, resetting the IPhone, and updating it on iTunes, and still nothing's working. Has anyone else experienced this? I don't have warranty on my phone so I can't bring it in. If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.
Added (1). I should mention I've had the phone for about three months or so, my music use to work, and I've already tried updating it with Itunes.
Try to updated with Itunes, maybe sometimes the problem is with the music and not with the phone.
Go to mycomputer and quick format it your iphone.
see if your music on itunes is not corrupted by any of the songs.
delete everything from itunes and add just clean fresh ripped songs from your cd's again.
do you see the list of music on the iphone? If yes then its hanging or the file/files are corrupt.
if not then you updated it half not full.
best way, update your iphone 4 without restoring anything (clean update) then rip new songs from your cd's to itunes and just add those to your iphone after the full update is complete.

- Why won't my Iphone play music? So when I click a song under my ipod icon it skips it and goes to the next song and then does the same thing. I was able to listen to my music before but I did a backup because this is my new phone. I think it did that because I went to itunes to download my music onto my phone and then I did the backup, it then started skipping the songs.
- Why won't my iphone music play through my subs? I have a kenwood touchscreen. Its the DDX371 and i can't get my music from my phone to play through my subs while it is bluetoothed. It plays fine through the subs when it is on the radio but not when bluetoothed.

When I download music and import it to iTunes, They play fine and normal but as soon as i put them on my iPhone they sound scratchy or like if they were getting fast forwarded. - Why won't some of my music play on my iphone? Most of this music is from cds since none of those are working. Then it's just a few random songs here and there. Is there a quick fix to this? I figured i'd ask here if it was easy enough but if not i'll go to apple support. i forgot to mention that it works perfectly fine on itunes if that makes a difference
