Why Won't my IPhone 4 send pics?

It's brand spanking new. So no problems should really be present… But I can't send pictures! However, I can send text. I don't understand the issue… Could someone walk me through how to fix this problem?

If you are having this problem sending to more than one person, the issue most likely has something to do with your internet or settings. The reason you can send text and not pictures is that your text message go over the same part of the network as your voice. [If you can make and receive calls, text should work].Pictures go over the mobile internet.1.) make sure you have a data feature on the account. 2.) Make sure you are connected to cellular data and not wi-fi (settings>general>cellular>cellular data on) Either disconnect from Wi-Fi or turn it off. 3) Look in the upper left corner for your carriers name with either a 3G or 4G next to it 4.) Test your internet by bringing up a Safari page or accessing your email. Then try sending a picture. The only other reasons I can think of would be either the person(s) can't get pictures or the number or email you are sending to is being mistyped.
