Why won't my iPhone 4 send pictures/videos?

My cellular data is on and so is my MMS messaging, but whenever I go to send a picture or a video it remains in the process of "sending" (with the process bar at the top of the message) forever, which is really draining my battery, and just frustrating!

I tried restarting my phone, i made sure the MMS setting is on my phone and i even tried reseting network settings and nothing worked. I know for a fact my plan lets me send pictures too. I know that it is not a problem with T-mobile as I was able to send and receive pictures a few days ago before I switched to an iphone.
