Why won't my iphone 4S give search results in app store?

- Why is my apple app store not letting me search anything? When I go to the search section and type something in no suggestions come up and nothing shows up when I search it. There's the loading dot circle at the top left on my iphone 5c but besides that, nothing. It does the same for the Top Charts, it has the loading sign but it's blank. I still have not downloaded ios8, not the first time nor with the glitch fixes because it takes up so much room. Why is my app store doing this?
- Where do you buy / search for App for an iPhone? Itunes or apple store? I'm a new iphone user and i noticed that there's an itunes icon and an apple store icon on my screen. So far, I have used the apple store for downloading apps but can I use itunes for that as well? No rude comments please!
- Speed Test, Different Results? If I go to my SpeedTest app on my iPhone I get 31.10mps download, If I go to their website on my PC it says I get 2mps. What is going on? Only 3G on my phone but using the Wi-Fi and we're told we should be getting around 30ish mps but my PC isn't receiving it for some reason
